Maddux's name in the sand...

Photoshop corrected...

I was never going to say a word about his name being misspelled, the thought was the kindness gift.  Today I open my email again, this time from an affilited NILMDTS photograper in Oregon, who saw his name in the sand, knew it was misspelled, and then did some photoshop magic for me.  Again, another gift in itself...Thanks Amy.

Original..

I sat down at my computer today...opened my email, and this is what I find.  A gift from a stranger, telling me that she was thinking about Maddux.  How beautiful is this?  My heart has been touched, by a simple gesture from a woman, thinking about my son.  There is  beauty in this world...

Cheryl, Maddux is a gaurdian angel! You and Mike followed your hearts based off of what I believe to be devine intervention. God has big plans sometimes and he chooses the simplest of people to carry them out. I truly believe that Maddux is at the right hand of God helping heal so many! I have never shared the entire story about seeing Maddux on that prochure that dreaded day. But I know I can tell you now. When the nurse handed me the prochure and I realized this precious baby was not alive my heart broke again outside of my own grief in that moment I was grieving for Maddux. I prayed to God just for him. I studied his lil' body for over an hour. Cheryl I can close my eyes and describe his every feature to you in that photo. I can not tell you how many times I prayed to God that night that he Allow "that" baby whose name I did not know to be with Ethan that night to take his hand and guide him to our Father. I cried out to God and asked over and over for that and I know for certain God allowed that. I share this because Maddux is everywhere. He's in the hearts of so many who probably have done the same thing in hospitals all over the world. He's fulfilling God's purpose for his life in a mighty way and you my friend are his Mommy and what a proud Mommy you should be.
