Photos of dead baby haunts mother:

Dear Baby Joey's mother,
I am so sorry that you have experienced the death of your son. As a grieving mother myself, I can understand your pain. I can also understand the anger you must feel at this time, you say because of the images you received of your son that were taken after his death without your permission. I have photographs of my son, Maddux, before his death, and also after his death. I cherish each and every one of them. I hope that one day you will understand why a nurse went out of her way, to help you with your grieving. I also pray that one day you will forgive yourself for not wanting the images that were sent to you of him. You may not realize it now, but one day, when it is too late, you might just really want these images. But by then the damage will have been done, to the reputation of the hospital that cared for your son, to the nurse and her coworkers that cared for you and your son, and to non profit organizations that assist parents and family's in their darkest hours after the death of a child.
Please don't let your anger guide you during this time.
In Hope and Healing,
Cheryl
